Week 2

My 2nd week of school has started and I'm really excited. Last night I took my first quiz for this semester and I aced it! Woo hoo! This all feels very surreal to me because just 3 weeks ago I was working full time and now I'm a full time student. I'm glad with the classes I have this semester. Most of my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays so that gives me time on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to play & craft. It's such a joy to have a little free time during the week, especially now that I finally bought my Cricut! I'll share some of those projects with you later this week.

As for now it's off to Pilates & the rest of my classes!

Back to school digital freebie!

Now that we're in the second full week of August most kids have started back to school. I don't have children of my own but I've always loved fall and back to school shopping (especially for school supplies).

So here's another back to school digital scrapbooking freebie... CRAYONS! I've always loved art and crayons were my all time favorite school sup

ply so I created another digital sticker of a hand colored crayon box (drop shadow added for effect).

Another digital scrapbooking freebie!

With August right around the corner I'm all ready thinking about back to school. It's been a while since I've been in school, myself, but most of my friends have kids so it's always a topic of conversation around this time of year.

This weekend I decided to break out my watercolor pencils and have a little fun. I traced over a few back to school theme clip art pages that I've had for

ever and a day; then colored them in with my watercolor pencils. There was a old school house, a box of crayons, a pencil and a bus full of kids. I haven't gotten out the paint brushes and water but I think they're coming out pretty swell.

I've got the house scanned and I ended up creating a sticker. I'm offering this up as another digital scrapbooking freebie, you can download it. Make sure to check back next Monday for another back to school image.
